I watched ELFEN LIED today at anime night over at Robin's house (yum Chili x Rice ^_^) and I must say that I must be getting soft in my old age.. first it was GUNSLINGER GIRLS, now this... maybe I have an extremely soft spot for cute girls thrown into a seemingly meaningless life of pain & suffering >_<...

...but yes this is an interesting anime series about appendage ripping blood splattering cute girls in a horrible angsty setting - VERY ample fan service >_<.

Think Gunslinger girls + Jojo's Bizarre Adventure + Boy meets girl, meets girl, meets girl, meets girl (Tenchi Muyo style) + EVA + All purpose Cultural Cat girl Nuku-nuku... then you have Murderous cat girl Nyu-nyu.

Sad thing is.. for those who know the history, people will think that my MRB95's Makoto Udeshii's psychokick of "ghost hands" was ripped off from this anime >_<...

MAD PSYCHO PROJECT

tonight was a pretty slow night for me... I usually do not like staying home and sitting in front of the computer (but I was pretty tired to run around the block and I wanted to get away from Resident Evil 4), but I cracked open some manga I wanted to read.. I chose MPD (Multiple Personality Detective) PSYCHO. As always I get hooked easily and ended up liking this series. The art style is beautiful and to me the GORE hits with a punch and twists my stomach. Still despite all that I am drawn to the story style.

The story pacing is disjointed, confusing yet intelligent. Pretty much, the manga style I want to inspire towards : ) (or maybe what I have been accused for trying too hard to be, if you call that a bad thing)



I am reminded how I stare at the walls... what happens next?
