I was peaking at your journal while drawing a page and didn't look up for a while as I was finishing a frame. When I looked up, my reaction was more or less....

Is this it? Is this THE ONE?! Holy shit, that looks so precise and clean. The recent black and white pieces you've been doing have been blowing me away, and then this one tops them all! Totally awesome, dude! XD
Yaay : ) Thanks, Yuu. The secret is simple (yet takes a long time) just go over your artwork with a mouse >_<

Humbly speaking I think the last few black and white works I have posted are pretty 'simple' to say the least.
For the cover I want something more complex and involved and also meaningful : ) I dunno if it will blow you away but we shall see.
I am honored. ^^ I'm going to try to keep drawing this time. I finished another sketchbook doing this, so it's been going well. I also have more story ideas brewing (better than 7 Day, I think, or at least something with a wider audience range), so I hope to start designing for that when I'm done. :)
Simple? I prefer the term "BOLD!" The contrast is very strong and really projects the image forth. It captures the eye and feels really different from your other inked pieces. I heartily approve!
And the cover's going to be even better? I think you better show it to me after I finish, because my head might explode from the impact! (j/k, I really want to see it as soon as possible! :D)

Yuu - what is 7day? Is that a new project you are doing?? I admit I have not been keeping up with you >_< I will try to remedy that.
I don't think the cover will be necessarily BETTER.. but.. we'll see : ) it's just different.

7day was my nanowrimo for last year. I attempted to write a shoujo story with a wider audience range (much like how shonen manga has become popular far outside its age range), but then it got really violent and appropriate for... nobody, I guess. ^^; I can send it to you if you like. I was trying to write something I could try to publish, but I don't think this is going to be it. ^^;
Handsome detail, sir--I particularly like seeing Shinji's hair rendered in a more realistic, rumpled style, as it's historically been rather stylized. :) Digital art for the win~
