I like how you're using MMA terms in your stuff. I've noticed that in the past few years terms like 'striker' and 'grappler' have become a part of regular terminology when 5 years ago only a few people used those terms.

Yuu - not sure yet.. I'll figure it out since I have a lot of filler pages for MRB to go >_< (tho the fight will be based on a real UFC fight from last year - I am so tired of drawing talking heads pages - but oh lord I about wet myself when I saw that fight it was so badass) thanks for dropping by :D
Right now I am just trying to play with chara designs so not ALL my charas look bishonen and related except for hairstyle >_ < ugh!
Gregg - most definitely bro. I LOVE MMA. I don't have cable at home but watch it when I hang out at my friends' houses.. really takes care of the awkward silences ; )
Everyone is a grappler it seems (and its no surprise, so I respect strikers).
Very nice~ I must say I like the change in artistic style and think that it still melds in well with the rest of the MRB cast. Can't wait to see how it will turn out! :D
Are you familiar with Kazushi Sakuraba? That dude is totally my hero. He used to fight in the now defunct Pride (I think he fights in K-1 Heroes now?) and he's at that point where injuries are starting to become a problem, but "The Gracie Hunter" tensai will always be a king to me. DABURU CHOPPU~!!!

This guy looks AWESOME. I love how he totally disses and kicks arrogant grapplers on the ground : D
And you know what the best part is? His original discipline was PRO-F'N'-WRESTLING. The dude just loved to fight. If there was anybody who could truely be called "Tensai," this man is it!
Here's another video that I was looking for earlier showing some of Sakuraba's sheer ingenuity in fights (like his now infamous "mushroom stomp," and the cartwheel over a grounded opponent XD). It also has a bunch of his great entrances too. Most MMA fighters just come out trying to look tough. Sakuraba? "Legion of Doom" spiked football gear, nunchuks, Tiger Mask, and Super Mario Bros! 8D
