a fearsome serpent
the .357 magnum was quickly adopted by agents of justice - the .44 S&W magnum followed - both were created for the determined purpose to topple [evil beasts] with quick, merciless power.
"...may this fill that emptines in your heart - if only for a little while."
In other news.. I signed up for kickboxing again tonight.. after a 2 year hiatus.

It's nothing serious - I can't seem to find the commitment to go 100% and be badass :) but hitting pads and moving around - it's still something I like to do tho.
Much better than nothing, though.
I've been toying with the idea of getting back into martial arts myself, probably after I move out to AZ...but I keep wanting to do something weirder like capoeira or kung fu, since I've already dabbled in karate and TKD. :/
In a perfect world, I'd find a class for that art that centers around whips and a crapload of throwing knives. There was a guy at Bladeforums who taught it up north...

A friend of mine has called capoeira "esoteric" (I had to look it up). He used to teach Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and his wife practices capoeira.
Suffice to say a few classes first :) before you invest in season tickets.
Good luck on your journey to the west, first and foremost try as many styles as you can until you find somewhere you are at peace, you enjoy and also compliments yrou body type.
Not to worry, I'm not stuck on any one style and know to shop around...:) You make a good point about body type, as I can see how my stubby limbs might not be One Size Fits All. Thanks for touching base with your friend for me.
