There's a get together tonight for my secret agent buddy who is in town. I will try not to drink so much hopefully people won't notice : D OK I did it.. feels good to cut back.. whew.. BUT I JUST REREAD PURPLE 5. It's good to be alive ^___^ I was running on a different type of high tonight it seems... I made very little changes, nothing to affect the spirit hopefully. By the time you read this Chapter 5 - BOY LONDON -remix- should be up and running.

I just got home after a long day. Too tired to go to the gym I decided to take my NAGANT M38 out (so I could pretend to be a Russian Sniper) ^___^. With my buddy Troy's advice, I shot the rifle "AS DESIGNED" with open iron sights (no scope) at 100 yards. The results were nothing to write home about but I was vey happy at the performance of my stick. Not bad for a 60 year old war rifle, with a punk yuppie wanna be behind the 10pound trigger.

Being a weekday there were a few older gentlemen there. It is not an expensive rifle. Probably $80.00, with taxes and fees. I was expeciting people to ridicule me, but was happy to see some guys praise the condition of my beater. Two gentlemen just couldn't stop talking about it.. and it did make me feel good.

Cause of babysitting parents I haven't had my "zen" time with shooting for a week or so and it really got me down.. I feel better now. I think I will name my rifle PERSIMMON, and put a scout scope on her this weekend. Considering ZOMBIES walk slowly I think I can take a small horde from my balcony with minimal issues : D. I hate zombies.

will upload JUDAS GOSPEL (I REALLY NEED to talk to Irina about this again - I have totally forgotten what it's about.. and her page really piqued my interest again ^___^ prolly need to go to Yosemite again...)

The new issue of BLADE OF THE IMMORTAL is out ^_^ HOORAY HOORAY!
I only read two comics regularly now (except when a new Tankou of TRIGUN or TENJYO TENGE) - BLADE OF THE IMMORTAL and DEMO. So it's a big deal when a new issue comes out.

OH! GREAT!! It seems like the ANIME for TENJYO TENGE is out?? Be still my beating heart. I feel like a kid again : D

Like most well laid out plans.. I didn't get to do much last night. My buddy from out town was visitting and between playing super secret agent and bonking stupid people in the head, he was able to get together with a few of us to talk about GUINESS, KNIVES and SNIPER RIFLES : D

just another hour or so at work... no plans tonight.. might install the scope on my Nagant (not by gnawing on it) haven't gone to the range or the gym in ages it seems on account of parents coming into town.. I think I need to do that to get rid of this lethargic feeling. I'd hate Z to get this kind of droopy outset just cause I felt that way as I shaped the character.

I recently watched the Japanese movie PING PONG (warning: spoiler alert!!!) You'd think that a movie about table tennis would be extremely silly and nonesensical - but in my opinion this is one of the greatest SHONEN flicks I have seen in a while (undoubtedly it is from a comic/manga).. without a doubt, with all the references to my beloved KAMEN RIDER BLACK (I grew up with the series while others were worshiping SUPERMAN), the freeze frame, STELLAR direction/screenplay and the unreal "manga type" facial expressions - this movie is a winner in my book. I WANT TO BE ABLE TO MAKE THOSE - eyebrow jerking - lip twisting - FACIAL EXPRESSIONS.

...I also am an avid ping pong-er so the acrobatics and kinetics really astound me!!!

I CRIED - that isn't saying much since I cry very easily; but if you cried in this movie too then you're probably as insane as me : ). I can't begin to start praising this movie, it is truly a story of the ordinary lives of extraordinary people - if you step into my house, you HAVE to see this movie.

I tried drawing more Tensai & Z tonight but it didn't come out the way I wanted (POOPS-DE-LOOUPES : p ).. PURPLE is once again put on hold.. I think what I need is a PDA so I can edit text on the road.. . work sucks cause it keeps me from updating my page

...just came back from Vegas, surprisingly I didn't have as exciting time as I did in the past 13 years... much like knife collecting, I think I need a new outlook on things. I did some sketching and thinking (blah blah blah) which seemed to help. I spent most of my time arcading. I played more INITIAL D arcade and got challenged by some guys in fighting games (o ho ho ho ^0^ I guess an old fart can still make you relize...) - got a thrill out of that - but not so much.. just spent time listening to local SKA bands. (I dont even know what that means... but enjoyed it immensely)

WHAT DID:

I learned more initial D arcade moves, and challenged a SKYLINE GTR guy who overtook me on the straightway eventho I had a lead on my super ultra cute and wonderful yellow RX7.. (BOO) - can you say STREET FIGHTER 2 w/ DEEJAY? or GUILE INVISIBLE THROW?? (if you know what this 3rd world county reference is, or what a WAYFERER is then you ROCK.)

I met a guy who looked like PSYCHOKICK's younger brother? (I have to email him)... note...

I have to eat red meat as much as I can before I get older than snot. (and die.. w/c is NOT good, BTW.)

WANGAN MIDNIGHT (maximum tune) is CHEAP and an RX7 cornering near-perfect can't beat a Mitsu EVO... PERIOD. (but I have to admit my Bro beat me on that so - he rocks on his choice).

I'm posting a sketch and preliminary chara design for a new idea [Tensai (meaning GENIUS or Heaven sent) & Z.] and Z. whatever hapens next will be a mystery...

I still need to work on some PURPLE : D

One thing I keep on forgetting is that, starting a Manga with just a TITLE and CHARACTER DESIGNS instead of a solid story is a very, very bad idea. Nonetheless, I can't help but get attached to a catchy line and a pair of funny looking guys. Anyways I need more angst... because "...with no angst, there is no art." ^_^

I pretty much thought that these little rants you found in BLOGs were just whiny & posturing, but I guess I can't really help but try something at least once. I guess I did some sort of journal in "fucked up thought of the day" - tho less direct. If only to organize my thoughts and have an each way to archive I'll try it : ).
